My journey in guitar repair began over a decade ago while working as an Audio Video Technician. Though I enjoyed troubleshooting and installing A/V systems in churches, schools, and auditoriums across the Midwest, I found I really enjoyed working on instruments for colleagues and friends in my private time. I loved delving into their inner workings, diagnosing issues, and bringing them back to life. In 2022, I decided to turn this passion into a profession and began offering repair services through Muse Music Store in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Today, as we continue to expand the Stringed Theory shop, I am grateful for our partnership with Muse as a premier drop-off location, and for the opportunity to work directly with customers.
As a musician with over 20 years of experience, I understand the profound connection between a musician and their instrument. My goal is to ensure that every instrument I work on plays effortlessly and inspires creativity, no matter the skill level. I'm committed to providing high-quality, personalized service that keeps the music playing.
